We founded The Ubele Initiative in 2014 with a mission to contribute to the sustainability of the African Diaspora community in the UK and build a better future. We are a new inter-generational community building initiative which aims to increase our community’s capacity to lead, and create innovative and entrepreneurial social responses to some of our most stuck social issues.

4.1. MailChimp:

a.       As part of the registration process for our monthly newsletter, we collect personal information.

b.      We use that information to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information, to send you additional information about opportunities/activities we and/or our partners provide and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

c.       We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter and information on opportunities/activities. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletter.

4.2. Squarespace:

a.       Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace uses analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for our site. This way we find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site.
