In this session, we will discuss and explore ways of packaging core costs and core services for grant appeals.
The Ubele Initiative, Mind, Best Beginnings and Young Minds have collaborated to develop Bayo. Bayo, meaning ‘Joy has found us’ in Yoruba, is a first of its kind digital space to find collectives, organisations and services across the UK run by and for the Black community that supports mental health and wellbeing.
These fundraising workshops have been designed to support Black-led collectives, initiatives and community-run services.
IN THIS SESSION, WE WILL DISCUSS AND EXPLORE WAYS OF PACKAGING CORE COSTS AND CORE SERVICES FOR GRANT APPEALS.
We understand the struggle of feeling like you need to create something ‘new’ to attract grant funding. We have also experienced this struggle. However, with more Trusts and grant funders finally understanding the importance of core costs to fulfil our mission, we want to support you to include more of these costs into appeals.
