Both teams have conducted research and released reports that explore the experiences, barriers and opportunities of social action and social entrepreneurship for young people of Black and Minoritised communities. In this event we will explore the themes that have emerged from the reports like equitable funding and support needed in the social action space.

About The Jane Hatfield Award
The Jane Hatfield Award, launched in 2022 by the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR) in partnership with The Ubele Initiative CIC, is an annual grant aiming to support the next generation of researchers. This year’s awardees are all part of Ubele’s network of young researchers.
