Vacancy: Peer Researcher

• Are you a young adult from a Black and/or minoritized background?

• Are you aged 18-35yrs?

• Are you able to commit over a 4 month engagement period to gather thoughts and experiences of young people about their needs, future training and employment opportunities within the manual trades?

• Do you live in the UK?

The Ubele Initiative is looking for up to 12 young adults (18 - 35 years old) with lived experience from Black and minoritised communities who are able to identify and engage with their peers within and/or across regions. You will contribute to a national research on the presence of Black and minoritised young people in the manual trades.

The research is funded by the Youth Futures Foundation.

All ‘peer researchers’ will be provided with training and a per session fee of £75, with each participant expected to undertake no more than seven sessions between September and December 2021.
