Black on Track programme aims to encourage 35-65-year-old Black people from Lambeth to use community action as a first step to becoming active citizens in order to re-engage with the economy.

This is our new project funded by Black Thrive and Impact on Urban Health which will empower early middle-age adults engaged in social projects to generate economic activity in their communities.

Why Participate?

  • Get an audit of your current CV and create a winning version of it

  • Develop confidence to ace interviews

  • Learn to pitch for grants

  • Attain the skills needed to establish social businesses

  • A chance to win between £500 and £750 towards a social project

Are you interested? Apply by 22 January to participate in the programme.

What’s next?

All persons who record their interest will be asked to do an initial 1:1 interview to assess readiness for the program and will be given feedback by the coach. Members who are able to commit to the training sessions and demonstrate a deep desire to develop their skills and contribute to social action will be selected.
