Art of Hosting in Athens, Greece

Another Sankofa Intergenerational Learning Hub course took place in April in Athens, Greece. Our participants learnt how to guide the meetings and conversations they are part of and move towards more effective and desirable outcomes. We're excited to see how they use the new skills. A big thank you to our project partner Fractality.

Art of Hosting is a highly effective way of harnessing the collective knowledge and self-organizing capacity of groups of any size.  It is based on the principle that people give their energy and lend their resources to what matters most to them. Art of Hosting combines a collection of powerful conversational processes to invite people to step in and take charge of the challenges facing them.

Art of Hosting, when used as a working practice enriches and contributes to the advancement and of an organisation. It prompts better decision-making, increased efficiency and more effective capacity building and greater ability to quickly respond to opportunity, challenge and change.

We look forward to the next Sankofa course – Action Learning in June 2019. Apply now!

Welcomeship Training in Albenga, Italy

Our Young Emerging Leaders have been learning with Welcomeship on social entrepreneurship. They were pitching their business ideas to a panel of local stakeholders and building connections in the province of Albenga, Italy. It was a great opportunity to develop entrepreneurial ideas which address community issues and learn how to build partnerships with stakeholders to bring positive change to the local communities.
