EVENT: MAPPING INTERGENERATIONAL CONNECTIONS through the lens of Children and Grandchildren of Windrush

November 9th, 2017

Are you a woman aged between 50 and 75?

Are or were your parents of the Windrush Generation?

Are you a first generation BAME female community based activist who was either born in the UK or came to the UK as a child/young person?

Join us for an INTERGENERATIONAL gathering where STORIES and EXPERIENCES of different generations of BAME female leaders in London will be shared!

During the workshop we will use mapping as a tool for getting to know better your stories and share your experiences with the young women who are a new generation of BAME leaders in London. They are participants in Ubele's project PatHERways London, which supports young women from the African Diaspora in individual and group journeys towards becoming change agents in their local communities.
