This month we held a private exhibition, led by Drew, to support the work we are doing with the Mek Wi Chat project.
The purpose of the Mek Wi Chat Exhibition is to initiate a wider conversation within the Black community about our preferred course of leadership. 5 artists were commissioned to create 3 pieces of art, their 1st piece is based on an interview with a leader from the Black community. That 1st piece was taken into local communities to spark more conversations about leadership which inspired the artist’s 2nd piece. Each artist created their 3rd and final art piece based on their whole experience.
