Community Ownership Fund: Update

The government has now released the prospectus for Round 3 of the Community Ownership Fund.  Applications will open on 31 May. The new prospectus incorporates some of the changes we have been calling for, including a reduction in the requirement for match-funding and an increase in the maximum funding amount from £250,000 to £1 million.

Locality is leading the development support programme, bringing together the knowledge and skills of 10 leading community support organisations through My Community. They can provide initial advice to all interested applicants to help organisations develop their plans and Expression of Interest.
