The project proposes learning specific skills related to the prevention of hate speech, responding to its manifestations, but also to support the people affected by this form of violence and the education of people who spread hate speech. The main aim of the project is to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and tools adapted to the specifics of their work.
Hate speech is not only about "words". Internet enables us to quick communication in many different ways, for example through social media, often allowing you to remain anonymous. The network can "speak" with videos, photos, or more traditional ways, for example by writing comments. Forms of visual or media tools can often strongly influence the conscious and subconscious attitudes of the recipient. But these same measures could be used for education and prevention of hate speech.
This project is co-funded by European Commission within Erasmus+ Programme.
